Arpan (2016)
“Arpan”, the audio of eight Gujarati devotional songs, is all praise of the divine Mother. The four bhajans, in a way, mark beginning of Shyama Sangeet in Gujarati! The music also accepts influence of Baul music of Bengal. It still conforms to traditions of Navaratri in Gujarat, and is therefore launched on first Chaitra Navaratri of (April) 2016. Since all artists, including Hemant Chauhan, the icon of Gujarati music, have donated their voice, this audio CD becomes still more blessed. There is no price, for there cannot be any; and looking to technology made easy, many video versions are expected of each song, which is a welcome feature.
